Thanks to consistent growth, we presently have an immediate need for a Sales Representative in the surrounding Rochester/Buffalo area of New York state.

Job Duties:
- Dealing directly with customers to assist in determining their needs.
- Handling all equipment details such as quotes, project purchase orders, and maintaining customer files.
- Cold calling, scheduling, and keeping appointments with existing and expanded client base.
- Expand customer base to improve sales volume objectives in assigned territories.
- Communicating and working with other departments to ensure prompt delivery and accurate product specifications.
- Establishing, developing, and maintaining positive business and customer relationships.
- Preparing sales action plans and strategies.
- Developing and maintaining a customer database and sales materials.
- Planning and conducting direct marketing activities.

Salary:
Negotiable based on experience.

Travel:
Up to 75%

Job Requirements:
- Capable of multitasking while providing excellent customer service in a rapidly changing environment.
- Be a self-starter and able to work under general directives with minimal supervision.
- He/she should possess strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- Technical aptitude is a plus.
- An associate degree or diploma/certificate in a technical discipline or a High School Diploma with equivalent work experience.
- 1-3 Years of customer service experience.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment (motors, pumps, valves, controls, etc.).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to use proper grammar and spelling.
- Proficient in using standard MS Office programs.

Must-Have Qualifications:
- Currently residing in the Rochester/Buffalo, New York area (or willing to relocate)
- Valid driver's license
- High School graduate

Ideal Qualification:
- Previous experience or interest with water/wastewater (municipal applications) or plumbing/mechanical building systems (commercial or industrial).
