We are excited to announce that Emmons Pump & Control has been acquired by Metropolitan Industries.
As of Aug. 27, 2019, our new company name is Emmons Metro LLC. Coinciding with our new name is a new logo (below), both of which symbolizes the synergy with our new parent company. While our name has changed, our commitment to providing our project partners and end users with the most dynamic pumping and control solutions has never been greater. That endeavor continues with the same dedicated group of Emmons leadership and staff who you have come to know and rely on over the years.
The family owned Metropolitan Industries, based outside of Chicago, IL, is a manufacturer of custom engineered packaged pump and control systems. Metropolitan has been an established supplier to Emmons since the very beginning, which demonstrates the long and steady relationship between the two companies.
Serving the municipal, commercial, industrial and residential markets, Metropolitan’s custom engineered systems have been implemented in some of the world’s largest and most prominent buildings, structures and cities. With a footprint spanning throughout North America, Metropolitan’s complete system solutions are used to solve a vast variety of water movement and management challenges involving flow distribution, pressure control, treatment, collection, temperature control, hydronics and reuse. Metropolitan is comprised of over 150 employees with a collective set of skills and expertise involving sales, marketing, engineering, programming, fabrication, welding, field service maintenance and equipment repairs.
Now as part of the Metropolitan family, their vast resources will play a pivotal role in allowing Emmons Metro to expand our own system capabilities and repair services, which is advantageous to our project partners and end users within Albany and throughout all of Upstate New York.
